In regards to
Yé Lassina Coulibaly is the typical example of the artist-songwriter who has synthesized different musical styles. And not only out of a desire and concern to decompartmentalize musical genres, but in the desire to bring audiences together in the same artistic emotion. This experience imposed itself on him as a source of fully contemporary artistic expression that can be found in the diversity of his repertoire.
His participation in many festivals and his appearances with renowned artists in jazz, electro-acoustic music or variety, as well as in African music, constitutes an important moment in his career but Yé Lassina is in perpetual quest for new musical emotions. . He constantly updates his directory. Its concerts have the ambition to bring people together, to arouse emotion and joy, to federate around the human values of friendship, fraternity and solidarity.
His discography, like the musician, is made up of eight CDs, all unique, starting from the musical culture of West Africa through eclectic musical universes. His artistic skills and his sense of humanity have also been put to use in music therapy in hospitals with children, adolescents and young adults suffering from various pathologies.
